About Bruce (B.A.) Nerison There was never really any question about what the winner of the 2006 SDIADA Quality Dealer Award wanted to do with his life. As a young person, Bruce A. (B.A.) Nerison saw the role an honest, dedicated automobile dealer could play in people's lives by watching his father Bruce (Uncle Bruce) Nerison. When the time came to choose a career, no one had to convince B.A. to follow in his father's footsteps. Now the CEO and President of Wheel City Auto, B.A. has been the driving force of the Wheel City operation since its inception in 1992. He is the team leader who is ultimately responsible for providing overall strategic direction and oversight for the organization. In that capacity, he is constantly evaluating the dealership's performance and providing the vision of growth and direction necessary for his company to achieve success. Under his guidance, Wheel City continues to grow and the team continues to develop and mature. In July of 2002, B.A. was recognized by NIADA as the first (and currently the only) Certified Master Dealer in South Dakota. This designation is granted by Northwood University through the National Independent Auto Dealers Association (NIADA). Then, in October 2003, B.A. received the prestigious Buy Here-Pay Here "Dealer of the Year" award from Leedom and Associates at their national awards convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ultimately, B.A. wants Wheel City Auto to be a dealership that makes an impact on the lives of the customers they serve. "We really try to live by our mission statement," B.A. states. "That statement says, 'We are dedicated to operating our business with honesty and integrity, committed to providing the best opportunities for our customers and associates, focused on building relationships that last a lifetime.'
